- Make a picnic gift basket. Line the basket with a colorful placemats. Add bottles of iced tea, fresh fruit (strawberries, apples, grapes), fresh veggies (carrot sticks, celery, cherry tomatoes), finger sandwiches, assorted cheese sticks or cubes, gourmet or homemade cookies, napkins, cups, plates and cutlery.
